At Bark Avenue Dog Grooming, we’re a close-knit team of genuine animal lovers who truly enjoy coming to work each day and spending time with our furry clients. We care for every dog as if they were our own, taking the time to make them feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while providing quality grooming with plenty of love and attention.

Megan

Salon manager/senior pet Stylist

Megan is a dedicated Senior Pet Stylist with over 12 years of grooming experience. She is highly skilled across a wide range of breeds, coat types and grooming styles, and stays up to date with the latest techniques and trends within the industry. Megan is committed to delivering high-quality grooming services while ensuring every dog feels comfortable and well cared for.


As our Salon Manager, Megan helps oversee the smooth day-to-day running of Bark Avenue and is always happy to assist clients with their grooming needs. She also enjoys mentoring and training other groomers, sharing her knowledge and experience with the team. Her love for dogs extends beyond the salon, having adopted her rescue dog, Ewok, who often visits the salon on Tuesdays and brings plenty of personality with him.

Indy

Indy is a dedicated Assistant Pet Stylist at Bark Avenue Dog Grooming with a genuine passion for animals, especially dogs. He has completed his Certificate II in Animal Care, where he developed knowledge in animal welfare, gentle handling, hygiene practices, first aid and assisting in animal health care.


As an aspiring dog groomer, Indy is continuing to build his skills within the industry while assisting with bathing, drying, coat preparation and grooming support. He helps ensure every dog receives patient care and attention throughout their visit.
Indy is known for his friendly nature and excellent customer service. At home, he cares for his beloved dog, Jones.

Minilla

Pet Stylist

Minilla is a caring and creative Pet Stylist who is passionate about helping dogs look and feel their best.
She has completed the Stress Free Pets education program through TAFE Queensland, focusing on gentle handling and recognising and reducing stress in pets, and has also completed Pet CPR training. This supports her calm, thoughtful approach with every dog.


Minilla enjoys the creative side of grooming, tailoring each style to suit the individual dog’s breed, coat and features.
Having grown up in a family of dog groomers, she has developed a natural understanding of coat care, styling and gentle handling.

Donna

Donna is an experienced Pet Stylist with 6+ years in the grooming industry. She began her career with one-on-one training under a highly respected senior groomer, building strong foundations in professional grooming techniques, dog handling and coat care.
She has worked across a wide range of breeds, coat types and temperaments, and is committed to creating a calm, safe and positive experience for every dog, including those who may feel anxious or require extra patience. Donna takes pride in her attention to detail, efficient workflow and maintaining high grooming standards.


Known for her friendly nature and excellent customer service, Donna values building trusted relationships with both clients and their pets while helping every dog look and feel their best.

Alicia

Alisha is a valued member of the Bark Avenue team and an aspiring dog groomer who assists with bathing, drying, coat preparation and grooming support.
She has completed her Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Behaviour Stream) through TAFE Queensland, with studies focused on animal behaviour, welfare and gentle handling. Combined with her caring nature and love of dogs, this helps her make each dog’s washing and drying experience as calm and comfortable as possible.


Alisha shares her home with her much-loved Schoodle, Leo, and brings kindness and enthusiasm to the Bark Avenue team.

Cathy

ADMINISTRATOR

Catherine manages the behind-the-scenes operations of Bark Avenue Dog Grooming while also welcoming clients at reception and helping the salon run smoothly.
With a background in business, Catherine brings a strong focus on professionalism, organisation and creating a welcoming experience for both clients and their pets, while maintaining safe and effective procedures throughout the salon.


A genuine animal lover, Catherine has previously fostered animals and shares her home with her miniature poodle, Frankie. She enjoys getting to know clients and the dogs who visit Bark Avenue.
